This was so much fun, I love everything about it! Thank you Dana! A thank you card with a more personal note is going out today I hope. It was an unexpected gift to open on my 26th wedding anniversary. I wore the bracelet and earrings while shopping for tubs, doors, and toilets for our new house, I felt pretty, even if! Thanks again Dana!

I miss my mexican food!!! I LOVE mexican food!!! On my birthday a few weeks ago Mark and I thought we would try out a mexican restuarant we had been curious about. Now I know it was a little early for dinner and a little late for lunch.....yah it was closed. For good! We did find another place to eat called Earl's, and of course I ordered a mexican salad and soup. It was very yummy. Anyways, so this past week when I was with my sister we went to the same mexican place to eat, not once, not twice, but three times!! I guess you could say 4 times because I bought a few burritos, froze them, put them in a cooler and had them for dinner after driving home from my sister's. You would think I have had enough of mexican food, but tonight I am making salsa and having quesadillas!!! Told you, I LOVE mexican food!!

Well,it has begun......the stressful part of building a house. The weather has been great but our contractor has not been- spread too thin and we are last on the list. Not good! The last couple of weeks have been difficult so I decided to drive to Regina, Saskatchewan to visit Lou Lou. Mark did ask me before I left if I was coming back....of course I am!

Can you tell I need to "get away from it all"? I love Neptunes Net on the PCH (pacific coast highway). I always order their shrimp basket with fries, but my favorite thing is looking out over the ocean while I eat. And those people crossing the road to eat on the beach, it's crazy! They better watch out.
Good Old Disneyland! There is nothing to say about this, but it really is "the happiest place on earth". I LOVE the Peter Pan ride, it is my favorite!
Eating Shave Ice in Hale'iwa is a must on the North Shore. Have you tried a shave ice with the black beans and ice cream in the bottom? ( really, my kids are happy, just busy with the whole experience)

Well what do you think? This is the back view taken from the highway. It is going slowly as our contractor has taken on another job...........but he is coming tomorrow..........for 1/2 day! Should I still feed him lunch? I am still thinking about that one.

So here is my twin sister with her 4 children on her birthday at a great Mexican place in Canada. She goes there alot and I am totally jealous since Mexican food is my very favorite food of all time. I have found a little Mexican place here that is in the middle of nowhere( it really is) and totally hits the spot when I am missing my Baja Fresh!

I bet you can figure out what this says, right? If not, then I will translate it for you:)

....to land anywhere they please and this one landed on Michelle's toe. It must have liked the red nail polish. We also saw Deer and a Mountain Goat in the park and on our way home we saw an Elk on the side of the road. In fact just a few miles away is a buffalo park where you can drive through and look at the buffalo. Tons of nature to observe here for sure.
Have you ever heard of Blonger Ball? Neals' cousin Kaden brought this to Waterton this afternoon and the kids LOVED it! Kaden, Neal, Bethany, and Clark ( yup, he is up here for the summer helping us build the house) played for over an hour and had a blast. Great for reunions, picnics, youth activities and the back of the package also said it would be great for showers! What? I don't get it!!

The weather was perfect today so I decided to plant some strawberries in the garden and plant flowers in the front yard. And because we live so close to Waterton Park we headed up after our yard work for a wiener roast by the lake. On our way we saw something very unusual- the lakes in Waterton looking like glass. The wind can blow pretty good there but today was perfect so this was the shot I got.
